Washington Post audio of Trump berating and threatening Georgia Secretary of State for not "finding" votes to change election result. Sedition?

President Trump urged fellow Republican Brad Raffensperger, the Georgia secretary of state, to “find” enough votes to overturn his defeat in an extraordinary one-hour phone call Saturday that election experts said raised legal questions.

The Washington Post obtained a recording of the conversation in which Trump alternately berated Raffensperger, tried to flatter him, begged him to act and threatened him with vague criminal consequences if the secretary of state refused to pursue his false claims, at one point warning that Raffensperger was taking “a big risk.”

Throughout the call, Raffensperger and his office’s general counsel rejected Trump’s assertions, explaining that the president is relying on debunked conspiracy theories and that President-elect Joe Biden’s 11,779-vote victory in Georgia was fair and accurate.

Trump is engaging of sedition and overturning the will of the people through fraud.

Trump should be arrested for sedition for attempting to overthrow the newly elected government of the United States of America.

Everything Trump touches dies.

Is American democracy next?
Nope. Not when Democrats are stealing elections with vote harvesting.

Trump lost get over it, we have new president now. Just come to grips with the fact that Trump is a one and done.

Is he though? As teh lies you people used to get rid of him are revealed, why should he not come back?

Let him come on back.
Revenge Tour 2024.

I guess the racist are really going to ramp it up.
Democratic Party = Anti-White

The Democrat Party is what 75% white, so that makes about as much sense as you do.
No it's not. Also those are NOT white people. Just a bunch of goddamn idiots.

So the real white folks are Trump Humpers.

Whites can be anti-white racists. It is called self hatred. I have seen it personally.

So to be a real white person you have to be a Republican Trump Humper.

Obviously not, you drooling retard.

But you have to deny racism or its effect on minorities to be a "real" white person. You can't say that "black lives matter". Or even believe it.

What is the unstated premise of the slogan, "black lives matter"?

You still have zero evidence they lied.
We have WAPOs confession that the quotes were false

that makes them liars

Even better, all the other media outlets who lied and said they "confirmed" the phony quotes have now implicated themselves, as well:

  • NBC News reported it “confirmed The Post’s characterization of the Dec. 23 call through a source familiar with the conversation.”
  • USA Today claimed a “Georgia official speaking on the condition of anonymity to discuss internal matters confirmed the details of the call.”
  • ABC News reported: “President Donald Trump phoned a chief investigator in Secretary of State Brad Raffensperger’s office asking the official to ‘find the fraud’ and telling this person they would be a ‘national hero’ for it, an individual familiar with the matter confirmed to ABC News.”
  • PBS NewsHour and CNN likewise appeared to claim they independently “confirmed” the story through their own anonymous sources.
and?

The call occurred, it's nature was accurately described. If it was fake why is Georgia investigating it?

Fuck you

if the audio was so damning why did the lib media have to embellish it with lies?
Damn, you have some delicate feelings. I didn't even say that to you.

Regardless, they didn't have the audio back then when they first ran the story. They only had the people involved recalling the phone call.

They seem to keep missing the point.

When you cover for them like this, it makes it easier for them to do it again. You're part of the problem.

Whats it called when someone writes a check for money they dont have in the bank?
If you apply that to media most of what the rightwing media reports would be fraudulant for relying only on what a source claims.

Sorry two minutes was just too long for you to wait, so I will make it quick. Fox's reporting of Seth Rich is a good example. Eventually they wereforced to retract it, NOT because tbeir story was shown to be wrong (they ignored that) but because the family finally sued.

Nope, it makes them wrong. Want proof?

You said Frances Watson was a made up name to provide cover for a no name source. I pointed out to you Frances Watson is a real person who was the investigator Trump called which fueled the WP article.

You clearly did not know who Frances Watson is despite you whining about this event which is about Trump calling Watson.

So were you wrong? Or were lying?

No, the point is Frances Watson felt like Trump called her to find the fraud.

And I asked for proof that I had been fooled by anything.
You accepted the lie as the truth

that means you were fooled

I've been following your little hissy fit which all started with you saying that the left will accept "any lie" printed by WAPO about Donald Trump.

Please provide examples where WAPO lied about Donald Trump. Notice that their fact check record is "HIGH":

  • Overall, we rate The Washington Post Left-Center biased based on editorial positions that moderately favor the left and factually High due to the use of proper sources and a reasonable fact check record.

I await your detailed response with specific incidents where WAPO lie, and if you don't respond, it proves that you're a lying piece of shit without a brain in your head.

thats not what wopo printed,,,

and where is this person confirming what she thought?? or is that another assumption on the reporter??

Trump called Watson and asked her to look for fraud. Watson then conveyed that to Jordan Fuchs, Georgia's deputy Secretary of State. Fuchs then informed the Post.
the call watson reported is not the one that WAPO has printed a retraction for

those are different calls
So what call did you think led to the WP retraction??
<crickets>

Well? What call did you think led to the WP retraction??
