Was Drew Brees ever a top 3 QB in his era?

The man has massive stats, but he played in the same era as Tom Brady (3x MVP), Peyton Manning (5x MVP) and Aaron Rodgers (4x MVP)…

Was he truly ever top 3 career-wise?

IMO Bree's the epitome of the new definition of Karma! He made himself "Mr. Chistian," but still held the Saints hostage over money; some would say just a $1M! That lone SB was a gift by the Colts, but Payton's used to coming up short when it really counted even w/ his gawdy #'s! Manning's another QB w/ 2 SB's & all kinds of talent (record #'s), but like Rodgers, would find a way to blow it so they inevitably underachieve! Brady's given too much credit in winning a lot of those games! His defense was stellar! Early wins were done by his kicker! There's some sort of taint to many of his wins; a ref's bad judgment, Spy-gate, Cell Phone-Gate, Deflate-gate, etc.! I'll never understand ATL SB and their 25 pt. lead late! Someone's gonna burn in #ell over that one; both sides of the equation!

Yes he was. He achieved the ultimate goal. All those guys who threw for more yards and scored more points during the regular season fell short of their ultimate/main/only goal and that's to win a superbowl.

You know why I hate the regular season MVP in basketball? Because no one cares. We only care about the playoffs.

The Chargers let him go for Philip Rivers. Rivers was really good, however counting playoffs Drew was better.

It was soooo obvious the head coach of the falcons threw that game to let the cheatriots come back and win,thst it was all scripted so brady could be billed as the greatest quarterback of all time.remember he was the former defensive coordinator for Pete the cheat who so obviously threw that other Super Bowl in the last Super Bowl he coached.

It was so obvious the fact that that falcons coach went into super conservative mode in the second half.i watched that superbowl a few months later after it was played and he started doing the exact opposite in the second half he did in the first have,the first half he was aggressive and called for plays that attacked the defense,the second half just the opposite,started being super conservative running the Ball on third and long instead of attacking throwing as he called fir in the first half.

Only an idiot would deny that this game was scripted and the coach and quarterback threw this game same as Pete carrol his mentor threw the game against them.

Drew Bree’s should have been in two superbowls but the refs fixed both those championship games as well.LA and Boston are much bigger media markets than New Orleans and Kansas City so the refs went out of their way to fix both those games For the rams and patriots to be in the Super Bowl,the legitimate winners of those games were the saints and chiefs,Drew Bree’s and pat Mahomes both got screwed big time from being in a Super Bowl.
