Warming seas decimate Bering Sea Snow Crab population

They all don’t have to be removed by fisherman for overfishing to decimate the population. Overfishing and migration is the simplest and most reasonable explanation.
The number of crabs taken is a KNOWN VALUE. Crabbers did not take 7 billion crabs. Migration is possible and has been suggested by the experts as what the crabs would have done in the face of excessively warm water. I put up a graph that showed a large number of different species in that area moving northward and to deeper water seeking colder temperatures.

Migration and over fishing. KISS.

Crabs have to adjust, just like people. Get over it you spoiled crabs. And who's to say those crabs didn't just get tired of the cold Bering strait and head for Cabo?

If you Google disappearing snow crabs - all you will get is Global Warming spin. But if you Google the same thing but limit results older than 6 months it says nothing about Global Warming.
But what you didn't know, is the snow crab population decline was known over a year ago, and scientist are baffled why there was such a drop in female crabs. The main suspect before the global alarmist stepped in to take over the narrative... was an unknown "mortality event". Probably biological as in a virus etc. Because the drop was practically overnight. NOT GRADUAL.

Were there fewer snow crabs during the Medieval Warming Period when atmospheric CO2 levels were lower than they are now? How about the Roman Warming Period? How about for the most part of earth's existence when it has been warmer than now? You kinda wonder how the little guys ever evolved since the earth has mostly been warmer than it is now. Do they flourish during the Ice ages and reduce in number during the post glacial warming periods?

Maybe the whole story is Environmental Wacko bullshit.

Environmental Wacko bullshit supported by NOAA, the Alaska Fish and Game Service, the Alaska Fisheries Science Center, Alaska's crab fisherman and, of course, the crabs. Very likely. You should investigate. I bet they've turned the crabs into fake ballots.

Crabs first appeared in the early Jurassic nearly 200 million years ago.
