WaPo: Trump “possibly violated a federal directive” by tweeting about jobs report before its release

If Trump violated federal protocol, that could be added to impeachment charges.

I hope no one is silly enough to suggest this is an Executive Privileges issue, because that would reveal such a person is lost in a land that never existed.

There has never been such a claim of protection before on this matter.
Wrong retard A PRESIDENT made the Directive NOT the Congress following Presidents are free to ignore it or change it.
Thank you for showing in your anger that you don't understand the issue. This is not an Executive Privilege defense, RGS. No one even suggested that Congress was involved: that was you with a red herring.
My point EXACTLY, you claimed Trump could not violate it cause he had no authority. I noted it was created BY A PRESIDENT and thus can be ignored changed or deleted by another President at their whim.
Try it, and he ends up in court and loses. He won't try that.
Once again you RETARD the Present President is NOT BOUND by edicts made solely by a previous President. They are not law and they have no force except that given them by the current President. There would be no Court case unless Judges are just as STUPID as you are.

Suddenly the left cares about leaks.................Hypocrisy at it's finest.

Except this was not a leak.
And.............he says great news.....others leak classified shit and no one cares...........face it ......this is just another BS way to trash Trump and nothing more.

No the far left hatred for any thing non far left is apparent!

Yes the far left propaganda machine known as the Washington Post is trying to make news where none exists..

This is the musing of an MSNBC early morning panel trying desperately to think of something derogatory to say about the president and coming up with nothing but a stretch to make a conspiracy.

His followers think rules don't appley either. If the laws have no inherent force, then they can be interfered with by the Courts. Don't go tin foil, please, Trump followers.

For the slow of thinking, Trump is not the final say on this matter. Congress is, of course, and can make it an impeachable offense.

LOL how is an edict that is the sole authority and power of the President be considered impeachable? Trump as the current President has sole authority to follow or dismiss the edict either in deed or writing.

The slow of thinking have been corrected on this. He is not the sole authority. He is not a dictator. Congress and the Courts can tell him, "No, buddy, you ain't." No President should be able to influence the markets with comments like that before it opens.

LOL look you fucking MORON the President has SOLE authority granted by his office to change the edict anytime he wants. It has nothing to do with Congress or the Courts.

No, he does not. That's the story's end. Getting all temperamental is not going to help your case. :) Now have the last word.

Look it up NUT JOB. The edict was CREATED by a president and deals with how the executive operates. That is SOLELY the power of the President.

OK, you don't get it. The President's power does not allow him to violate the law. He is hinting at his admin's actions that will effect the stock market. Let him defend that in court. Now have the last word.

Wrong the conversation is on a specific edict created by Reagan and Trump does not have to follow it.
