Reno was confirmed as AG on March 11 1993. Subtract 51 days from April 19 and you discover that the Waco thing was started before Reno was AG. I'm not trying to defend Reno, only trying to keep things in perspective.

The local Sheriff went public that Koresh could have been arrested any Saturday morning when he went to the Post Office.

The Waco thing was another inside job. ATF deserved to lose a few of their men.

The Murrah Building was another inside job.

To call the Waco thing an inside job is to claim Koresh had people inside the ATF

beyond stupid.

Someone who does that may die yes but it is not the law. The law does NOT forbid defending yourself against law enforcement who open fire first without justification.

The law does allow you to defend yourself against such violence even from cops or federal agents

Watch the documentary "Waco: The Rules of Engagement." It shows actual video footage and audio from the Waco massacre, and in my view all the evidence shows that they deliberately killed 86 American citizens including over 20 children.

Also, I can't find the video clip of it right now, from doing a search...but I specifically remember an ATF agent mocking them before it happened. This may not be an exact quote, but he said something like "I hope they have fire insurance." That was BEFORE they were gassed and murdered.

Marty is correct. By "resisted arrest" they shot up officers who had managed to get on the roof.
