Waco Massacre...33 years ago today

Wrong.

This sounds like some sovereign citizen bullshit.
No it does not in any way whatsoever.

There is no precedent or law which states one has to stand still and be murdered by police when they open fire first. If they attack and open fire even with a warrant one has the right to defend oneself.

there is also no law saying the bad guy has to shoot first.

The Branch Davidians were the bad guys.

They were suspects. The law DOES say the police may not open fire without a justified reason. Theyhad none.

The police may not shoot on sight , they did.

Under those circumstances one has the right to self defense.

Maybe not randomly before the raid.

In the after math of the ATF's disaster there was very good progress made in negotiating with him. It's reasonable to say he may well have come out and surrendered if the FBI's HRT guys had not undermined the negotiations through Psychological warfare.
No, it is hopeful but not reasonable.

They were heavily armed and resisted arrest.

I'm all for the right to self defense and the RKBA but this is too far.

No they did not resist arrest. They fired back when attacked.

Koresh himself was the first one shot and he was unarmed. He was actually attempting to cooperate and avoid violence when he was shot.

You. Don't. Get. To. fire. back. at. officers. with. a. valid. warrant.

Your view of what happened is wrong.

No.

It's opinion, not fact.

I get you don't like what happened, but making crap up about it isn't going to change how things work in real life.
Yes.

it is gfact and proven and documented it is not opinion

If you doo not liek facts because they ruin your narratrive I get it but in fact they are facts.

They prove you know nothing about the history of this incident and are simply parroting bullshit you heards

tyhe way things work is that facts stand against you and your narrative

The recourse in this situation is to have the officers prosecuted for assault or murder, not open fire on them.

Reno was confirmed as AG on March 11 1993. Subtract 51 days from April 19 and you discover that the Waco thing was started before Reno was AG. I'm not trying to defend Reno, only trying to keep things in perspective.

The local Sheriff went public that Koresh could have been arrested any Saturday morning when he went to the Post Office.

The Waco thing was another inside job. ATF deserved to lose a few of their men.

The Murrah Building was another inside job.
