The poll shoes that replacing thousands of civil service workers with those loyal to trump is not what they wanted. Likewise, ending the Education department and superseding Congress to give the president more control over spending was opposed by the majority of respondents. Seems MAGAs are having some buyer's remorse.

I could've gotten my open heart surgery at the VA, but I opted to go to Weill Cornell, one of the best hospitals in the world for the type of surgery I needed and Medicaid paid for it. You're 62 years old, just a few years away from qualifying for Medicare and SS. Do you realize that wealthy elitists like Trump and his ilk, don't really give a crap about the working class, who need social services, if not always, sometimes, when there's an emergency..etc?

Unlike Democrats since the election, Republicans care about what the voters think. Social Security and Medicare are the third rails of politics, and it is unlikely that Democrat Reps and Senators will want to anger their senior voters by taking those steps.

I happen to be 62, and I have a job that provides a pension, plus savings for retirement. In the incredibly unlikely event that Medicare goes away, I will buy private insurance.

As to the part about hospitals no longer being reimbursed by people who don't have health insurance, I thought Obamacare was going to take care of that?

As to your Jesus memes, Jesus advocated voluntary charity by individuals many times. He never one time suggested that government should provide food, housing, or medical care.

Also tax cuts are not in any way "free stuff." One has to earn money before it can be taxed and therefore before those taxes can be cut.
