But not to vote?

A student ID will be sufficient; most can be purchased seven days a week in a variety of stores and won't be turned away for wearing a BLM T shirt.
Can you offer a rational reason why Democrats oppose Voter ID?

Because no one has yet.

I'm a registered Democrat and I do not oppose voter ID's. What is a legal ID, and do all states require the same legal ID. ID's are not foolproof, they can be counterfeit.

I support LIVE SCAN, do you?
I'd be okay with LIVE SCAN...as long as the software is sufficiently secure. As we've seen with voting machines changing votes, security is paramount.

No reason why you can't vote without a wallet or purse.. Have the registrars load ID photos and signatures that get delivered to polling places by hand or secure communications link on election day.. Poll worker LOOKS at you, checks your signature -- asks for your current address.. It's that's damn simple.

Have a truck or two to issue new voter ID cards. Only has to be done every 10 years or so,...

My signature when I registered to vote in 1968 is far different than the one I used in my career, when I signed legal documents (arrest warrants, for example) and my photograph over the years has changed. My hair is no longer black, it is gray and at times over the years I've had a beard. I can't imagine how Live Scan could be counterfeited.

Nobody gets more than one vote.
If you vote for someone else, say... A dead person... They have gotten more than one vote.

Okay, assume a thousand people in PA voted twice. It still won't impact the election in 2020. Thus, let the Congress Vote and let President Biden sign a reform on voter registration, and to begin to require all new registrants to put their thumb print into a database via live scan in a secure computer, in the office of the County (Parish) Clerks Office.

As the registrant moves, the clerk when informed by the voter should be required to have the Clerk send the registrants "ID" to the new place of residence; if they are not informed the voters right to vote in the election shall be forfeited.

The Congress could provides funds to require each Clerk in every County/Parish in America to use the Social Security Death database and thu use this to secure a death certificate to remove the deceased from the voter role.

No one likes to lose. Sad that we would let one mans personal need to win have this much weight. to many petty things being done now such as disrupting our national security. At this point it would seem no matter what small errors or fraud is found the outcome wont be changed.

There is a lot of noise as to Voter Fraud, and little discussion on Voter Suppression. The question is, why has AG Barr asked US Attorney's in the several states to investigate the former (fraud) and not the latter (suppression)?

In support of this question, I will present several links on Voter Suppression:

Voter suppression is how Republicans have maintained their minority rule – consequently you’ll hear nothing from conservatives about that suppression which works to their partisan advantage.

However, it’s an article of religious faith among Republicans that when they lose an election, it’s due to the myth of ‘voter fraud,’ when in fact it’s because the voters have rejected the Republican candidate.
There is no such thing as voter suppression. Any legal citizen can vote if he or she wants to. There is and always has been voter fraud and the various political machines have been experts in it. The fact that people like you are against requiring a voter to have a photo ID just means that you condone fraud. Government issued IDs are easy to get for legal citizens and residents and are necessary for most important things in everyday life.

Eh... I don't think you want the congress vote. o.0

It would help for a politician, either one, to actually SAY THIS. WE ARE GOING TO ADDRESS THIS.

You are wrong.
