It appears that the nation is divided along the lines of the predominate economic systems of capitalism and socialism, and that leads us to the understanding that the subsisting system is a hybrid of the two - is it not? And so, it may be that we are supposed to segregate states to satisfy the people. Why is it so difficult for people to consider segregation to be a viable solution? I understand that any segregation leads to the possibility of racial segregation, but it should not be considered to be a return to the biased segregation of previous eras. The primary problem was that the government and society was not developed enough to serve the simple Black folks to compete with the sophisticated (and corrupt) white men that could operate the erroneous government. There were some barriers that could not be solved, because of the lack of technology and the resources to advance the former slaves' sophistication.

What other possibilities are there, than segregation, to provide people the opportunity to live in a state where they can trust their neighbors?

That is the solution enshrined in the US Constitution. Unfortunately, two world wars provided Woodrow Wilson and FDR with the opportunity to impose nationwide uniformity. Democrats oppose local autonomy because it gives lie to their proclamations.

People must realize that there is also unsophisticated people and all types of sophisticated people, and corrupt people of all types of skin pigmentation. To solve the problems of poverty ,crime and other society problems, is to stop treating people according to there skin pigmentation or there wealth or lack of it. And see them as an individuals and treat there problems as unique to that individual .One size fits all solutions will never solve societies problems.

Are you in favor of economic segregation as opposed to racial? We already have the former and are, thankfully, slowly eliminating the later.

Show us how to do that.
