I have said FDR admired the Hitler programs due to his solving unemployment in Germany. And you admit the industry did well under Hitler. War machines were important to their economy. But Hitler also added many superior roads in Germany as well as buildings. Germans had survived with super inflation that Hitler cured. War started years after he was Chancellor and took him and Germany down.

While the US nationalized industry and put women in the workforce, Germany didn't do this until late in the war.
