In our post World War Two environment...the United States of America has been the “ arsenal of democracy” for the free-world. Our men an women have spilled blood on all continents and on every shore to ensure freedom and democracy is protected and allowed to thrive. I live next to an Army base. It’s snowing and my neighbor who is an Iraq War vet needs to get to the VA hospital. Wounded severely on road to Baghdad. VFW gave him the 23 miles to VA office, he went 2,000 miles to Baghdad to win a war. Small trade by comparison.
