Vets Revolt After 'The Most Anti-Veteran President In History' Kills Popular Program

No vet would talk like that. Not an American vet. Who did you serve for? Putin?
Keep running your mouth. The vets I know pay their own way, earned their own way and don't ask for others to support them. American vets believe in self sufficiency. Who did you serve under, parasitical commie? Again, those vets that are whining about the loss of a political program, are deadbeats that don't pay their promises in spite of the fact that the country subsidized their loans to begin with. If you don't intend to pay a loan back, don't take the loan.

Vets use the Medical Health Care for them. They use the GI Bill, Small Business Loans, VA home loan programs, and on and on. I served across the world, including Korea (twice) and under bosses who became generals.

Which programs did you use?

I have used the GI Bill and VA benefits. Those were CONTRACTED benefits that were offered when I enlisted--much the same as the health care benefits that were offered by your employer. That is an employment compensation package. Once again your showing your confusion. A loan forgiveness program is NOT a benefit that was in ANY vet's compensation package. Try again.

Of course it was. You enlisted, the Home Loan program was part of the deal.

When I was discharged from the Army in 1964, congress gave us no benefits. When Vietnam got going, the congress decided to give us education benefits and the VA benefit to use to buy a home.

Sorry to disagree with you Bob, I know you mean well, but you are mistaken.

The G.I. Bill education benefit was bestowed on June 22, 1944, when President Franklin D. Roosevelt signed the Servicemen's Readjustment Act into law.
