Very curious. Why is the judge being so deferential to Cole Allen?

I was also thinking this judge was too concerned with criminals than he should be. If the secret service had been better shots we wouldn't be here right now.
The Secret Service has not been doing its job.

And, honestly, when this first got reported, it involved a claim that the gunman had been killed. I wouldn’t have been upset if that had been correct.

I think judges in general get very annoyed when unscrupulous LEOs and prosecutors blab and brag in public too much.

Which is always, under this administration.
A. No. That was the persecutors in the Biden Administration.

B. And that has nothing at all to do with how the judge is basically coddling the accused would-be assassin.

But he still spent decades in custody. So distinction without a difference.

Hinckley spent 41 years in custody
Squeaky Fromme spent 34 years in custody
Sarah Jane Moore spent 32 years in custody
A different time. When the birth pangs of the new Communist dictatorship was in its young childlike phase after it came out in the mid 1960's with warnings many times before it from the phukn in 1913. Now it is in front of us all. Many people in power are crazy and/or incompetent.

And idle words about Pence don’t compare to an armed gunman trying to get to the Administration to shoot them. He did shoot a secret service agent, too.
A noose at a supposedly “peaceful demonstration” are idle words. You MAGAts don’t give a damn about truth, do you?

I don’t know. Maybe it’s obvious. But I’m not seeing it. He seems a bit unhinged.
As time goes on, and more information becomes available, it sure looks like this "judge" is afflicted with advanced TDS.

You are reading way too much into this.

The judge is taking precautions because the last thing any jurist would want is a high-profile defendant either being killed in jail or taking his own life.
That's why the judge has taken him off of Suicide watch? That makes no sense.

Well that's total horseshit. Several judges have expressed annoyance with the incompetent dipshits in the Trump administration and how they run their mouths in public.

I can always count on you to take leave of your honesty and integrity immediately, whenever anything even tangentially scuffs your favorite fat rapist.

Ok. I get the fact that the defendant is presumed to be innocent in the eyes of the law. That’s as it ought to be.

But a window view? A judge telling jail officials how to secure a man who admitted that he was seeking to kill high level Adninistration officials? Really?

WTF is going on?

And why is the judge invoking the jail conditions under which J6 defendants were held while in jail?

I may be missing something. Any ideas?
Yes,, but you will reject whatever is set before you.

I’m fine with hm still being alive. I’m fine with him getting his rights, including a fair trial and an impartial reasonable jury.

I personally don’t presume that he’s not guilty. Quite the opposite. I therefore could not serve as a juror when his case goes to trial (not that there was any risk of that happening, of course).

But, no judge should be coddling that guy.
No reason to abuse him either.
