Verdict reached in Karmelo murder trial

So, what was the justification for Caysen Allison, the hispanic kid was not armed either. What was the justification for him bringing a knife to school, since I keep hearing that Karmelo shouldn't have had one at a school event.

To maybe help you a bit on that - Ramiriz, the Hispanic kid killed, was known on the scool campus as a kid who liked to fight and had a group that followed him videoing those fights. Ramirez had alredy challenged Allison and confronted him in a scjhool restroom with 4 of his followers! It was being videod by Ramiriez's buddies, Ramirez took the first swing and was tha attacker. Allison had FIVE opponents there in that bathroom! He pulled out a small knife and defended himself! His sentence may well be overturned as the judge refused to allow the jury to consider self defense! NO blows were struck against Anthony!!! NONE that arose to the possibility of bodily injury or harm! The judge in the Anthony case did tell the jury the 'self defense finding' was available and explained it all to them! The jury found 'Anthony guilty' but his parents and peers should also have been on trial there for they created that world for him!!!!

And yet I've cited many cases here - Allison, Reeves, Chow, Rittenhouse - where deadly force was used far beyond what the situation justified.

Allison could have easily forced his way past Ramirez and gotten out. In fact, that's exactly what he did after the stabbing.

Allison got 10 years. He's paying the price for his use of force. Personally i don't think anyone should have to go to jail for killing someone in the heat of the moment, if you've been randomly attacked. As for Chow, he got off because of dumb SC laws. Rittenhouse got off because his defense succesfully made the argument that Rosebaum tried to take Rittenhouse's rifle from him, which constituted an imminent threat of death, if he were then to turn around use it against him. This along with Rosebaum making death threats sealed the case.

A funny thing happens once you stab the subject of whatever is preventing you from leaving a situation. It's no longer a hinderance.

Allison was certainly an "antagonizer". He had boasted for days about how he was going to put Ramirez in the hospital.

I would argue, on balance, Allison was far worse. But again. White privilege.

And then he was confronted by Ramirez, and it was then that Allison said he didn't want to fight and that's when Ramirez punched him and started fighting. Which bit of evidence do you suppose is more relevant to a jury? Allison talking smack about Ramirez with his friends or the actual encounter with Ramirez where he attempted to deescalate. Is that your definition of "antagonizing?"

Yeah, when someone pulls a gun on you prior, you're thinking up ways to take him out before he takes you out. Not uncommon. This still isn't relevant to the stabbing though. Allison didn't follow and corner Ramirez in a bathroom, didn't want to fight when the encounter happened and didn't throw the first punch. All things a jury takes into account. That's on top of the fact that Ramirez was also known as the campus bully, which i'm sure endured him further to the jurors.

I just recently watched some white kid doing interviews after the Karmelo Anthony case. He walked up to a black guy asking for his thoughts on the verdict. The black dude gave his nonsensical opinion and then began insulting the interviewer and egging him into a fight for literally no reason. All the while the interviewer had barely said anything, he was just allowing him to give his answer and speak. This was probably the type of behavior Metcalf and his friends witnessed when Anthony jumped into their tent and wouldn't leave. This is why so many blacks suddenly end up arrested, in jail or dead.

See now you are trying to justify this kid having a knife in school and using it to murder another kid. It's amazing how when it comes to someone white you will justify them using a knife or gun in what you call a fist fight. We heard over and over as to why Karmelo had a knife at a school event and now you are trying to justify Allison having a knife on school grounds when you know it is not allowed. Now it was a small knife and no he wasn't fighting 5 kids, also the Metcalf brothers were known as bullies as well, but for some reason folks want to ignore that.

Okay, Judge Senile

1) Refused to allow the people Rittenhouse shot to be called "victims"
2) Allowed the defense to call them "rioters" and "looters" (even though there was no evidence any of them were looting)
3) Refused to allow the prosecution to admit the tape of Rittenhouse fantasizing about shooting a black man leaving a CVS
4) refused to allow pictures of Rittenhouse partying with the Racist Proud Boys.
5) refused to allow evidence that Rittenhouse had beaten up a 14 year old girl
6) Told the jury to stand up and applaud a defense witness.
7) Openly berated prosecutors in court.
8) seated a mostly white jury. (even though 30% of the population of Kenosha county are people of color
