Allison could have easily forced his way past Ramirez and gotten out. In fact, that's exactly what he did after the stabbing.

Allison was certainly an "antagonizer". He had boasted for days about how he was going to put Ramirez in the hospital.

I would argue, on balance, Allison was far worse. But again. White privilege.

No, its not. They have a strange pre hearing process that puts the onus on the prosecution in a big way.

Nope. Only idiots say things like "Life without parole".

Life without parole means they might as well try to maim a guard who pisses them off, it's not like they have any incentive for good behavior at that point.

I would have given both boys 15 years, with the possibility of parole after 10 if they show progress towards real reform.
