Verdict reached in Karmelo murder trial

What % of black folks would you say are criminals, dumbass.
Demographers studying the scope of felony records in the United States estimate that roughly one-third (33%) of all adult Black males carry a felony record, compared to approximately 13% of all adult males nationally.

Yes, the key is to have really good lawyers.

Well, honestly, it shouldn't be that way.

Besides of all the horror stories of innocent people being sent to death row because their lawyers were drunk or asleep, people who did it shouldn't be able to get away with it (like OJ Simpson) because they pile on enough legal firepower.

Are you finally admitting he was pushed?

A push was good enough to justify Curtis Reeves shooting Chad Oulson.

Heck, it wasn't even a shove. Oulson just threw popcorn at the guy.
if you go to comment 1690 above its the reading from the transcript of the defenses witness testifying he wasnt pushed,,

Neither was Chad, but "throwing popcorn with intent" was good enough to get him murdered.

Anthony was pushed.

The stabbing occurred at a track meet, at the Memorial High School tent in David Kuykendall Stadium at approximately 10 a.m. (CDT) on April 2, 2025.The altercation started when the track and field championship event was delayed due to thunderstorms and heavy downpours.<Anthony, who had entered Memorial's tent, was told to move out of the tent by Hunter Metcalf, Austin's twin brother. Austin then confronted Anthony. During the argument that ensued, Anthony allegedly said, "Touch me and see what happens," while reaching his hand into his backpack. According to a witness, Metcalf then grabbed Anthony to move him. Another witness in the Frisco Police Arrest Report stated "Austin and [Anthony] went back and forth and then Austin stood up and pushed [Anthony] to get him out of the tent". In response, Anthony pulled out a black knife from the backpack and stabbed Metcalf once in the chest before running away.

is that from the transcript of a sworn witnesses??

I didnt think so,,

sorry but only a sworn statement is going to save you,,,

The verdict is always the same when a black man is on trial.
No it isn't. In this particular case, there was no justification for Karmelo's use of deadly force. Austin was not armed and did not threaten Karmelo or indicate in any that he meant harm. They only wanted him to leave the tent and he knew that.

So, what was the justification for Caysen Allison, the hispanic kid was not armed either. What was the justification for him bringing a knife to school, since I keep hearing that Karmelo shouldn't have had one at a school event.

It's the same number of black criminals as it is white criminals and many of those criminals are repeat offenders.
The number of criminals is not the point. The number of crimes is the point. Blacks account for between 30 to 40 percent of violent crime and that is far too much for a demographic that only comprises thirteen percent of the population.

I don't tell you this as a criticism of black people because I know it doesn't need to be this way and it can change. And I know you hate to hear it from white people and I get that. But young blacks need to hear it from somebody and they're not. Instead, they're hearing that the white man hates them and is the source of all their problems. I personally think it is why Karmelo reacted as violently as he did.

Even if we assume for a moment that you are right about a black man's chances in the courtroom, it is only true up to a point and it is by far not the biggest problem the black man has. You simply cannot explain away a thirty to forty percent crime rate by blaming the white man or the justice system. It's much more complicated than that and I think you know it.

I'm here to tell you that if reparations ever comes to pass, it will not change a thing. The white man will not be able to change anything no matter how much he tries and money alone will not fundamentally change attitudes.

Change needs to come from within. It will not come about by rampaging and brawling through airports, shopping malls and restaurants nor will it happen by killing every white person that violates your boundaries.

How about you look it up yourself as I think you wont believe anyone's comments. About 40% of ALL VIOLENT crime is committed by young black males, about 3.7 % of our total population! The really, really, terrible stat is 80% of ALL blacks murdered, are killed by young black males!

I have no idea because I don't know anything about that case.

What I will say is that the knife on school grounds was not the problem. The problem was that he chose to take it out and thrust it into somebody's heart over something trivial because it was a white guy.

What's funny is you trying to tell folks that black folks had the same opportunities as whites in 1925.
You're not living in 1925. Get over yourself.
We have a "race" of people who were virtually EXTERMINATED in Europe AFTER 1925. The survivors moved on and rebuilt their lives.
And here you are, still moaning and bitching.

As I read the story, Anthony had a 'folding knife', open with the blade out, in his backpack. Multiple witnesses said he had his hand inside the backpack, that hand came out with the ready to kill blade exposed! He stabbed the kid, then witnesses said he threw the knife down and ran! Anthony had several levels of preparation for a crime! He prepared for the day with the knife open in the backpack, then deliberately went to another teams tent, where he was recognized by at least one of the team, and was asked why he was there and not in his own team place! Then he refused and after as many as 15 times being asked to leave or told to leave, one boy, Metcalf, a year younger, pushed Anthony! And he did what he had prepared to do, he stabbed a person! To me that was premeditated murder and he should have gotten a death sentence! BUT, I do not blame Antony totally, I put a vast amount of blame on his parents and his peers! That environment put this boy in prison!

That's NOT "really, really terrible"
These "victims" are not innocent victims. They have violent records. If they were walking among us, it would be all that much worse for American society.

Justice Information Authority study found that nearly 80% of all firearm homicide victims had prior arrest records, and Black male victims were the most likely to have this history. The elevated rate of prior involvement with the justice system among homicide victims highlights a widely studied criminological phenomenon known as the victim-offender overlap.
