In the meantime the head of Australia wants to help us with our 'gun problem'.
While she has family in the Philippines, Marilou Danley, is in fact Australian it was reported.
Facts: She leaves the country at the last minute. $100k is transferred from the murderer to the Philippines.

He used to work for a defense contractor which points away from progressive. I spent enough time in the defense industry to know that there's no more right-wing, douchebag laden industry on Earth.

Funny thing is most conservatives don't like shooting red-necks, or anyone else for that matter. They're usually a bit more single-minded, well grounded, and less prone to violence.

Where's the broken windows?

It was reported that there were broken windows below the ones that the shooter was using. And if if were pre-planned, they probably already had the replacement window and the equipment to replace it before anyone discovers it. It did not make any sense for the shooter to have all sorts of different types of guns in the room with him. . They need to do an autopsy on the victims, to see that they were shot by the weapons that the shooter had used. And plus the window could of had been replaced by a temporary piece of reflecting plastic, to make it look as if it were the original window. But then later on, keep people from coming close to the building by closing off certain areas that will prevent anyone from seeing them replacing the window.

FYI

-the guest(s) in the hotel room below the shooter, are the ones who called hotel security... notifying security that the guest room directly above them, was shooting out his window.

There is a recording of the guest's call to security, heard it on the news....

It's very possible that she thought he was nothing more than a collector. Different types of guns are fun to shoot, and as another poster pointed out many people buy lots of ammunition for target practice. It's even possible that it was a legit hobby of his even before he went off the deep end considering he had way more guns and ammunition than he was ever going to use in the massacre.

I think it's fair also to leave room for a little bit of good old fashioned denial.

We don't want to think terrible things about those we're close to, so we might be the last person to really see a problem.
