Emilia Marin filed a petition on Thursday to depose Daniel Defense, the Georgia-based gunmaker that made the rifle used by the gunman who shot and killed 19 children and two adults at Robb Elementary School on May 24. Marin reportedly requested that the company provide information about its marketing, sales, lobbying, and profits.

Maybe Ms. Marin might herself be accountable to answer why she left a door, first propped open, and then unlocked, and was unarmed, and thus unable to fight off the gunman, and protect herself and the students.

If the school had not been so absurdly GUN FREE, in the first place, and if a number of employees had been armed, it's very possible, in fact likely, that the shooter would have been deterred from going there.

That red light was never shown to him. Instead, he got a green light, and went straight to what he saw as a "soft target".

There has been talk of destroying the Uvalde elementary school, and building a new one. So this is liberals' answer to a school shooting ? To wreck a perfectly good building, and spend money building another one ? (which would likely be just as "soft" as the first one was ?)

Perhaps that money would be better spent on SECURING the original school - hardening it with armed guards, and/or providing guns and training/licensing for school staff.

Was it really the **** who left the door open, who now wants to blame the gun manufacturer for the deaths of those 21 souls, WHICH SHE FACILITATED DIRECTLY????????? That's a lot of nerve, right there, and it's obvious that the **** is a leftist ghoul because leftist ghouls are the only ones stupid and tone-deaf enough to think that what she's doing is a good and noble thing!

Just like Sandy Hook -- children have to die so a district can get a new school. That's the leftist government "education" system for ya. Sacrifice them babies, y'all!

A new school will not stop this. Building a fortress will not stop this. Simple solutions are all that are needed. This doesn't happen often.........Even though the SHOUTING LEFT SAYS SO.............Spending is out of control Why spend when a few armed with cheap bullets are a better solution.

Hell a bottle of Wasp and Hornet spray is cheap. Hard to shoot straight if you are blind ..............

Vicarious liability is a pox on our society. The tort law community has convinced "us" that if the actual wrongdoer has no money or insurance, it is appropriate to scan the horizon for anyone else who HAS money or insurance, then gin up some counter-logical explanation as to why the party with money is actually at fault. Maybe the gun manufacturer. Maybe the manufacturer of the door that didn't lock (supposedly) when it was supposed to. Maybe the school board members who didn't take neurotic precautions to try to prevent such issues.

It is all bullshit.

We all know who was at fault for those shootings, and the motherfucker is dead.

Now stop trying to get rich off this tragedy and go the fuck home.

Aren't you the guy who wanted all teachers on live camera all the time--and so the little children are not on video, they can just stay at their desks and the teacher can stay in one spot in the room so she's on video?

Yeah? Was that you?

Now you trust us WITH GUNS.

Sure you do. Sure. Excuse me if I'm a little....gee. Skeptical.

She didn't leave the door open. She is on video pulling it shut. If it didn't lock that is not her responsibility. Doors cannot lock from the inside due to fire code restrictions.

We need to get off the teacher at fault over the door. The insane guy with the gun was shooting through windows on the way there when this happened.

The teacher was in a dang hurry to not get dead. Blaming her is BS.

And again this is why smart teachers--even those of us who are gun owners--will in no way be carrying in school. Nope. Especially not after we've seen what the public really thinks of us

Indeed. She pulled a door shut that is SUPPOSED to lock from the outside--but it is still her fault according to these folks. Now imagine the armchair quarterbacking if there was this type of situation and teacher employed a gun but some kids still got hurt.

I'm just telling you this is why teachers are saying no. We have a cynical, distrustful public. So no.

That is your choice to make. Hopefully some will not have the same ending as the 2 that just died.........

GOODNIGHT......point blank blown away. Hopefully that doesn't happen again.........but it's going to happen again. Choices.......these are yours to make.

No surprise here. There will be an avalanche of suits…

Unless she unlocked the door, it was probably still "locked "from the outside, but it may have not latched properly.

Maybe she should sue the door manufacturer or the people that installed the door. Maybe she should sue herself.
