Two sided coin...
It's expensive as **** to live there, if you can even find a place...The area is jammed with land yachts in the summer.
There is a significant amount of pasture land that's off limits to development in the valley nearby Jackson, that would alleviate the massive pressure on housing if development would occur.
Flip side of that is that a very significant portion of any new development would go to high-end condos and 10K+ sq. ft. starter castles, and any new housing for the locals would be pretty spendy.
It's a conundrum for sure.
