Been on medicare for a few years now...... they gave me this little wallet card , if i wave it around in the pharmacy i get lots of attention .....most entertaining....~S~

Thinking of calling it quits this yr before the snow flies. That would be 44 yrs in the same industry. Wife wants to move closer to the oldest daughter who is north of us and has the only grandkid. I'm not into long commutes. Only drive a mile to work. I'd be a little short for full SS.....which doesn't bother me at all.

Maybe time to pick a hobby that you love and who knows .. potential bucks .

I'm lucky .. my other daughters live within a mile and young grandkids go to school just down the street.

Ended up across the street from Cabelas for lunch. Walked in to look around and almost right by the entrance they had A shirt with eagles, fireworks, stars and Flags all over it. button down with a collar, light blue for $35. All set for the Quarter Millennium, celebration

Seems the wildlife had an easy go of winter. Deer and turkeys everywhere along with some sightings of some woodpeckers I have never seen in my life. There are swans on more lakes than ever, even saw a cardinal

Started on the yard uncovering her flower beds which are somewhat large. Vacuumed up all the dry ones I could. there is still a thin layer of wet leaves yet. Put down some Preen fertilizer to get em going

thinking about doing some karaoke at the Fair this yr. Looking at some Don Henley tunes or Blake Shelton

Well the house is sold. Not that I was allowed much input in it. Just cleaning it out now. Good thing the next door neighbor was the one who sold the house to her in '95. He's going to rent it out instead of getting selling it to a new person.

I think she was the last neighborly neighbor he was willing to accept. End of an era for sure.

I hope he takes good care of it, until I can manage to earn it back.

Regardless of how you felt about him, that's not really appropriate for the Coffee Shop. This has been, for the most part, a place to try to leave the contentiousness of the rest of the board behind.

So sad to hear. I came here for some Foxfyre light. Truly a loss, she was a sweet soul that will be missed.

I was wondering why I had not seen any posts from foxfyre. I am truly sorry to hear the bad news.
