You are holding a cup of coffee when someone comes along and bumps into you or shakes your arm, making you spill your coffee everywhere.
Why did you spill the coffee?
"Because someone bumped into me!!!"
Wrong answer.
You spilled the coffee because there was coffee in your cup.
Had there been tea in the cup, you would have spilled tea.
Whatever is inside the cup is what will spill out.
Therefore, when life comes along and shakes you (which WILL happen), whatever is inside you will come out.
It's easy to fake it, until you get rattled.
So we have to ask ourselves... “what's in my cup?"
When life gets tough, what spills over?
Joy, gratitude, peace and humility?
Anger, bitterness, victim mentality and quitting tendencies?
Life provides the cup, YOU choose how to fill it.
Today let's work towards filling our cups with gratitude, forgiveness, joy, words of affirmation, resilience, positivity; and kindness, gentleness and love for others.

My first impression was a big jet.

So this is puzzling me. I looked up my early childhood home on Zillow and discovered that they renumbered the addresses. The street is ONE BLOCK LONG. The old address # was 1257. The new on is # 1674. WHY? There are only 18 houses on this street - it is very weird they would even bother with changing the numbering scheme. They must be on dope.

I'm putting Hombre on the vigil list tonight. He has having a biopsy on Monday that will involved enough surgery they'll put him out for a few minutes when they do it. And then of course we wait for the results which is really hard. And Ringel05 how is Dutch doing?

We pray or send positive thoughts or keep vigil for:

Harper, the inspiration for the vigil list. More surgeries ahead.
Ringel05 for continued wellness and his brothers' families for relief from adversity and illness.
Hombre & Foxfyre's son Mike for continued wellness
Beautress for health and wellness.
SFC Ollie for healing and wellness
Gracie for solutions and peace.
Mrs. Saveliberty for healing.
Oddball's mom for continued good health and healing.
Boedicca's brother Douglas for successful treatment and wellness.
Dajjal and his sister with the best possible solution for a difficult situation.
And all our insomniacs having trouble getting a good night's sleep.
Ringel05's brother Dutch for successful treatment.
Hombre for successful procedure, as little pain and the best results as possible.

And we keep the light on so those who have moved on to other places can find their way back. And we hope they do.

December's full "Cold" moon will be in the sky all night tonight for those with clear enough skies to see it.

My brother is much better now. But I would like to add mr. boe. He is having back surgery tomorrow. He's been in a lot of pain lately.

One of those mysteries that will never be solved my friend. When we lived out on the mountain, access to our home was via State Road North 14, a four lane highway off of I-40 between the interstate and the turnoff to the ski basin. So I watched the state come in and paint beautiful new striping on the pavement, much appreciated when you drive at night and there are no street lights out there.

The following week the state resurfaces the pavement.
