USA will be 250 next year - how patriotic will we feel?

Well we have the Semiquincentennial next year, or if you like these better: Sestercentennial, Bisesquicentennial, or Quarter Millennial. I like the last one although we seem to be going with the bolded word.

Here is the question. How patriotic will the US feel next year? I am thinking it will likely be a big dud since Trump is unable to pull together people in any meaningful manner but maybe he gets struck by lightening and either rises up to the occasion or JD does.

How patriotic do you want to feel? Is it tempered by not getting your way on the political stage?

Patriotism should be defined by the gratefulness for the freedoms your country has that no other can boast. It shouldn't be defined by politics.
