USA will be 250 next year - how patriotic will we feel?

Lame dodge. Enjoy your celebration of division. E unis unum
Dodge? You posted a bullshit divisive post. Try this unifying concept: **** off.

Of course that would be your idea of unifying.
You posted a divisive post about Nazis and were expecting what? I’m not Jesus. Just post normal shit and we can avoid the unpleasantry.

Speaking of divisive posts about Nazis, here's one.

In it you mentioned something about there being a "lot of Nazi sympathizers on this thread."

And in this thread you suggested that the 250th will be a dud because apparently people cannot be spontaneously patriotic and need the president to pull them together, which you then asserted Trump (the modern day fascist) will be unable to do.

I was alive during the bicentennial and I don't recall once thinking, "I hope Ford can pull us all together and make us feel patriotic about this." No one did, and for good reason. Ford was our only completely unelected president and was Nixon's hand-picked successor. If people had depended on him, he would have absolutely been seen as too divisive.

Fortunately the cult of the presidency was not in it's current terminal stage in 1976 and people could actually set aside their differences back then.

So here's the deal. I'm going to celebrate the 250th next year with Trump as president. I would celebrate just as hard if Harris were the president. If you can set your crippling TDS aside for a year, then you'll be able to celebrate too.

Can you and the millions like you do this? That is indeed the question. Ask yourself this. Don't ask us.

Still not sure why you want to celebrate with a bunch of Nazi sympathizers, but I imagine you'll work that out somehow.

Considering what his "holiday messages" are always, always like -- no doubt his message for this day will be one of intelligence, grace, history, gratitude, humility, dignity, unity and leadership for all Americans, as he lights the way to bring America together like never before. As, of course, only he can.

Remember this beautiful, inspirational prose, one Christmas?

Taking tylenol is very hard on your liver, kidneys, heart etc. I only take it when I have a horrible headache
I love proving Republicans wrong

Tylenol (acetaminophen) is generally considered safe for the kidneys when used as directed. However, excessive or prolonged use can potentially lead to kidney damage.
Acetaminophen (Tylenol) is generally considered safe for the heart when used as directed. However, excessive or prolonged use can potentially have negative effects:
When used as directed, acetaminophen is safe and unlikely to cause adverse side effects. When misused or overused, however, acetaminophen toxicity can quickly lead to liver damage
What you just said reminds me of Trump's recollection of that escillator incident. You saw what happened right? So do you agree with Trump's dramatic recollection?
“came to a screeching halt”
“It stopped on a dime. It’s amazing that Melania and I didn’t fall forward onto the sharp edges of these steel steps, face first,” Trump wrote. “It was only that we were each holding the handrail tightly or, it would have been a disaster.”

You didn't prove they were safe. I already knew that. That's why I only take them when I have a migraine. Not all the time. They do damage the kidneys and that is proven.

Yes I did shit for brains.

safe when used as directed. Only excessive or prolonged use can cause problems stupid.

Well we have the Semiquincentennial next year, or if you like these better: Sestercentennial, Bisesquicentennial, or Quarter Millennial. I like the last one although we seem to be going with the bolded word.

Here is the question. How patriotic will the US feel next year? I am thinking it will likely be a big dud since Trump is unable to pull together people in any meaningful manner but maybe he gets struck by lightening and either rises up to the occasion or JD does.

No leader, including Trump, could come anywhere close to uniting the country today.

No you didn't. You were agreeing with me. You're such an idiot.

Sorry but this is a fact. Tylenol is safe when used as directed. Only excessive or prolonged use can cause problems

It's only not safe if you are using it excessively or for prolonged use. Wake up dummy. Yes I did. No I wasn't agreeing with you. Does it look like I'm agreeing with you?

Did you even read my original post. I said it was hard on your liver. That is true and a fact. I did not mention anything about how safe it was. You're just being stupid.

But it's not

Acetaminophen, when used as directed, is extremely safe even for people with liver disease. However, taking too much acetaminophen at once, or taking a high dose of acetaminophen continuously over several days can cause damage to the liver.

So don't take too much.

Even if you are pregnant, it's safe. Ask AI

Unless your physician directs otherwise due to your specific medical conditions, acetaminophen is the safest over-the-counter option in pregnancy among all analgesics and antipyretics.

What am I not understanding?

I can tell you this. I was a young kid during the 1976 celebration (barely remember it at all) -- the country now is not the same country it was then. That's what happens when you open up your borders, let in millions and millions of immigrants, most of them illegal, and when you have no national identity.

What's the point of celebrating the 250th? The country is hopelessly divided and I for one wouldn't mind a peaceful separation.

As long as you hate American’s it will feel divided. Stop it.

I hate what this country has become. The endless fighting between left and right, while the government grows ever more powerful and the cost of everything keeps escalating.

The only fighting has been the Jan 6 insurrection and the gestapo actions of the authorities towards protesters. Arguing on the internet ain’t fighting.
