Are the people saying how great the US is compared to "socialist" countries just in major denial or what? A lot of those socialist countries ARE in the top 10.

Most of that is because they SPEND money on infrastructure, science, r&d and have great educational systems. We're 22nd in the world for science & math! We need to import people into our colleges to stay as we're. Kind of sad.

Back in 2006, we were number six on that list. Since then, we've taken huge losses in the categories of control of government spending, property rights, and freedom from corruption.
