What about the black "pig cops" that's killed folks of colour? or are they exempt?

and "no reason" is highly skewed, for example if you try to steal a cops taser or have your back to Police ignoring their instructions to put your hands up and lean into your car for a knife - then I'd say they are among good reasons far less "no reason"

Also why the hell would you only want to hire cops with real college degrees? they've spent money and went to college to have advanced careers. Criminals would have an absolute field day with jumped up Uni kids who might be liberal lovespuds. For cops we need real folk, with the right attitude and yes, who are properly trained and not corrupt.

I don't agree. You can legalize them all. For years we were told about Marijuana being so horrible and they have been locking people up for a plant for a long time. Now it is practically legal everywhere. As was found with alcohol. Prohibition does not work.

The reason they won't make all drugs legal though is because there is too much black ops money made off of it. Such as what is done with the Heroine trade and the CIA. Why do you think we are in Afghanistan? A lot of the drugs are shipped in by our own governments. It also keeps the Prison Industrial Complex going by taken out the little guys.

Cops have a difficult job and we tend to make it more difficult rather than less. We expect them to be fearless, non-judgemental, and all-knowing. Then we put the screws to them when they are not. The cops haven't failed us, we have failed them and the occasional killing of unarmed Black men is the result.

You're not going to get college grads to work for what most policemen make.

In my part of the woods, there would be no LEOs unless they had an advanced degree.

Beginning wages are approx. $50K, not including benefits.

Yes, I agree for the most part what you said. And there is a certain group of people with the power who benefit greatly from the drug black market.

But from the other side, marijuana and heroin are somewhat different things. I can accept marijuana being sold openly, but heroin? I dont know.

No. Instead of jail you put people in drug treatment and offer them legal alternatives to illegal drugs. You undercut the market for illegal drugs while freeing up law enforcement to go after the source.

No. Instead of jail you put people in drug treatment and offer them legal alternatives to illegal drugs. You undercut the market for illegal drugs while freeing up law enforcement to go after the source.

In other words, let the state provide the drugs to the addicts. And this provision should be at the state 's cost. It would have a positive impact on decreasing of drug related crimes, for example. But then again, giving the state officials more power and money can lead to spreading corruption.
