There were plenty of attacks on diplomatic outposts during the Bush administration.

None of them had investigations that reached the level of Benghazi.

And the most major intelligence failure, in the history of the United States, which killed MORE Americans than Pearl Harbor, warranted an investigation ONE YEAR LATER.

The results of which put blame not only on the current administration at the time, but the one before it. Nothing punitive was done, by the way. AND..the recommendations, such as starting the Department of Security and the silly color coding..were enacted.
