There will never be peace as long as Trump is president. Iran will soon tire of trying to negotiate with a pathological liar.

"Iran’s military announced Saturday that it was closing the Strait of Hormuz, citing a continued American blockade, leaving the status of access to a vital waterway unclear a day after President Donald Trump and the country declared it open. A tanker attempting to cross the strait also was reported to have come under fire from Iranian forces, underscoring the fragility of the ceasefire amid diplomatic efforts to end the war....

he U.S. will continue its naval blockade of Iranian ports until there is a peace deal with Iran, Trump said. But on Saturday, Iran accused the U.S. of “banditry and piracy under the guise of a so-called blockade.”

“Until the United States ends its interference with the full freedom of movement for vessels traveling to and from Iran, the status of the Strait of Hormuz will remain under intense control and in its previous state,” said the statement published on Iran’s semiofficial Fars media outlet."

You are a pathological idiot.

1. There are several threads on this topic already. But you are too freaking lazy to look.
2. Iran said and because you and Alicia J have your lips fixed so fast to the Ayatollah's member, you just take it all in.
3. Even if they managed to shut down shipping for a little while, it won't take long to open it back up.

Then why hasn't it happened yet?

You are 100% wrong, Trump cuck. It's going to take a very long time to get control of the Strait back from Iran. Especially since the Navy doesn't have many mine-sweeping ships left in its inventory. And the U.S. Navy is afraid to get too close to the Iranian coastline because of their drones.

This is an unmitigated disaster, whether someone as pathetic and dishonest as you is ever going to admit it or not.

What..a couple of guys and a anti-ship rocket wouldn't do some damage?
What kind of damage?

And what does the retaliation look like.

People don't recall that LBJ and Nixon pussyfooted around with the North Vietnamese.

When they left the negotiating table in 1972, Nixon pulled out all the stops (which should have been done in 66).

We bombed them into oblivion (Linebacker II).

Do we do that here?

We didn't even go after civilians.

I don't believe we should here either.

Well, we didn't NOT go after civilians either...The Linebacker series of raids were essentially unrestricted..including all of Hanoi

Operation Linebacker II, sometimes referred to as the Christmas bombings and, in Vietnam, the Twelve days and nights,or Điện Biên Phủ of the Sky,was a strategic bombing campaign conducted by the United States against military and industrial areas of North Vietnam from 18 December to 29 December 1972, during the Vietnam War. More than 20,000 tons of ordnance was dropped, primarily targeting Hanoi and Haiphong, and at least 1,624 civilians were killed. The operation was the final major military operation carried out by the U.S. during the conflict, and the largest bombing campaign involving heavy bombers since World War II.

I guess we need to destroy their power plants for electricity and their plants that clean water. Systematically.

That's a war crime. I'm sure that concerns a MAGA caveman like you very much.

That doesn't hurt the regime leaders.

Just sticking JDAM up their asses does that.

This hurts people and they are in bad enough shape as it is.

Iran is going to be in bad shape as this goes on.

They've pissed off their neighbors.

Existing pipelines are being tested at higher capacities.

And I expect that if we could get off the strait altogether, we could essentially starve them out.

But that is taking it out on the people.

I just prefer to wait till they get comfy, then bomb their leaders....wait six months, wash, rinse repeat.

Not if they keep attacking ships in the strait.

Iran has already committed tons of war crimes by attacking shipping that is not military.

It's a threat against the economy of other nations.

BOOM!!!

Except that recent military presence is quite recent and was not in the agreement
