WASHINGTON (Reuters) - U.S. Supreme Court Chief Justice John Roberts on Wednesday paused a federal judge's order requiring President Donald Trump's administration to pay foreign aid funds to contractors and grant recipients for past work.

The court issued an interim order placing on hold Washington-based U.S. District Judge Amir Ali's action that had imposed a deadline of 11:59 p.m. on Wednesday night.

Foreign Aid is the best thing America can do to bolster our image in the world, and most of that money benefits Americans. (The money is usually spent with American contractors creating American Jobs.)

So what will happen when Trump ends a lot of this aid?

China will step into the gap. (Actually, they already have been doing this for years with the Belt and Road initiative)
