I believe if you check, you'll find that the current republican lead house has submitted more than a dozen jobs bills to the senate, and Reid will not allow any of them to reach the floor of the senate.
Obama's job bill was voted down by the senate 98-0.

Calling a bill a 'jobs bill' does not make it so. Repealing the ACA won't create jobs, and neither will banning abortion or giving the rich more tax cuts (we've already tried that one -- the results are evident).

Of course Clinton had a Republican Congress with a contract to America in which they were successful in fulfilling. What did Clinton leave Bush? A recession, a dot.com crash, free trade agreements, a Y2K wind down and yes 9/11. All that and the economy remained stable. But now the chickens are coming home to roost over Clinton's free trade agreements and some act surprised.

Then what happened in 2006, you should be old enough to remember. Yes, the democrats took over Congress, they did everything they wanted and ignored Bush. No Budget for them they just spent and spent. Two full years to do whatever they wanted, WHATEVER. Then one year of doing anything that they and Obama wanted. And what did they do about jobs?
