Just thought I would look up the quick definition on AI mode, of what the Merchant Marine lingo for this is,
dont judge me on it but I think a Tanker IS considered a type of cargo ship... though probably not called that commonly.
I would guess that of tanker ships, those used to haul crude oil are relegated just for that need throughout their service life, but I'm sure that other tankers are used for hauling other liquid commodities as well, at least those traded in great enough bulk.
