The U.S. Navy destroyer USS Spruance intercepted and disabled the Iranian‑flagged cargo ship TOUSKA in the Gulf of Oman after it attempted to breach a week‑old American naval blockade. Marines boarded the vessel, which is now in U.S. custody, amid escalating tensions ahead of scheduled peace talks in Pakistan and a looming ceasefire deadline. Iran has vowed retaliation, while both sides accuse each other of violating the fragile truce.
