America isn't a Free Market Unregulated Capitalist Society. We are a blend. Mostly Capitalist but Socialist too. Industry needs to be regulated. For example, to slow inflation the Feds raise interest rates.

Or Reagan Bush and Trump give rich people tax breaks for whatever stupid reasons they all gave. They should have never done those tax breaks. Now look at the debt you so fear and wonder how's it getting so big. Or you cry when YOUR taxes go up to pay for infrastructure. Well, maybe you should ask Amazon and GE to pay taxes like they used to.

I never understood these people that expect the oil companies/countries to just keep pumping out more and more and more oil just to bring the price down...as if the price coming down is a good thing for the companies.

Never thought of that. Drilling more holes isn't going to lower gas prices. The oil companies are already sitting on 1000's of acres of land we've already given them. They are free to drill baby drill till their hearts content. What's stopping them?

They are already making record profits, why would the put forth more expense and lower their profit margin when there is no need. People whining about 3 dollar gas are just idiots anyhow

Even with the change, the 12 months from Apr 2023 to Mar 2024 added an average of 175,000 jobs per month....

Did Trump ever average that much per month for 12 months?
