US Birthrate Continues to Decline

Trump being a person that was born wealthy and got wealthier doesn’t negate the fact that most wealthy people in the US were not born wealthy.

You had no point.
Uh.....
If you remove politicians from the list of "wealthy"....
Nope....there is definitely a class distinction between wealthy or never going to become wealthy despite being "better" in IQ, ideas, or talents.

Those initial hand ups and investments into their businesses really does assist in people becoming wealthy even if they technically did not have wealth of their own. (Their parents were wealthy but kids weren't until parents funded their businesses)

That's how it works.

In 2025, 710,000 fewer babies were born as compared to 2005.

Women are delaying motherhood into their 30's and 40's it seems.

From the piece:

"Whatever the causes, many demographers and economists see the apparent shift toward smaller families and fewer children as a significant concern for the nation and its labor force, especially as immigration into the U.S. has also plunged under the Trump administration." Yeah the price of labor is going to go way up (no pun intended).

Frankly, I don't see it. Our maternity ward is as busy as ever it seems. It should make people think twice about wanting to limit birthright citizenship; but it won't.
Normal for industrialized nations. Coupled with higher costs for daycare, medical insurance, college, blah, blah, blah, people would rather go to Cancun or watch the whales in Alaska.

Theres those that would rather work so they can travel, take vacations, drive nice cars, etc. A growing number just may be choosing that instead.

Same reasons for not having a first child either.

In a strongly military service family, I learned in my teens what I wanted to do for a career and what kind of pain I'd put upon a kid or three trying to replicate myself. Although I love being an uncle and a grandpa, I never desired to be a daddy.

I do confess that, in my mid-30s a few days passed where I thought "Did I make a mistake?" The answer was always the same: "Nawwwww!"

My advice to a mid-20s friend about how to retire rich was "Buy a house you can afford and never have kids". LOL

Married people don't have to have kids. They can be married and be happy, without kids. I look at my granddaughter. Now 30, married to her husband. They both make very good money. Have a big house, new vehicles, and take 3 to 4 big trips per year. Zero kids. 4 dogs though. Very happy.

Studies show that Democrats are losing population and that Republicans are gaining population. Will you show us accurate figures on legal immigrants since Trump is not blocking them?

Again....
You can argue from the general to the specific but not the specific to the general.

Meaning anecdotal evidence is not viable. Your granddaughter MIGHT be an exception to the rule. (Might not be but refuses to tell you either).

Some women find it extremely embarrassing and shameful if they can't Naturally have children....as if it was something they did.
IVF and other means are not always going to be successful.

I can back up what you have just declared with this map

I think overall there's alot less societal pressure on women to go the traditional route of marrying and having kids and that in my eyes is not a bad thing in any way.

I guess that's what happens when you can't make the distinction between men and women.
