He's yukking it up about the drapes while our military is dying.

Your lies are not unexpected. I have never expressed any love for your Ayatollah or his regime.
Dude. You called me "hyper-partisan" I'm taking the side of the American military,. You are taking the side of the Iranian propagandists. You don't want to be called out on it, strop being a useful idiot and stop speading their propaganda.
I don't believe in the infallibility of a regime that uses advanced lasers to shoot down party balloons.
QED. You consider the US military a "regime"

Incompetent ******* morons. A Fox weekend host running the Department of Defense.

Adding to this, an oil platform belonging to the Emirates is burning in the Gulf after being struck. The US-Israel war, which they wanted to be a quick, cinematic success in just a few days, has now triggered an explosive surge in global oil and LNG prices.

Yes. Imagine if this was Biden going on about the drapes after starting a war.

All of the Gulf states are terrified that Iran will get a nuclear weapon, because they have little doubt Iran would be willing to use it—at least on a limited scale. If Iran were weakened enough, I could see the Gulf states joining in, but not before.

I also don’t expect any large‑scale ground invasion of Iran. The only exception might be U.S. Army Rangers, but Rangers don’t conduct full invasions; they carry out limited incursions. At most, the objective would be to seize a piece of territory that could be handed over to Iranian opposition forces so they could build their own strength against the regime.

Other than that, I don’t expect American ground troops in Iran at all. And I don’t think any conflict would be long‑lasting. The U.S. has learned its lesson: you can’t give people freedom, prosperity, or stability. They have to build those things for themselves.

Nazi Germany was not an immediate, direct threat to the United States. But President Roosevelt wisely chose not to wait until it became one. He acted preemptively, and that judgment proved correct.

The same logic applies today. If the Iranian mullahs already believe they are the direct representatives of God, imagine how emboldened they would feel once they possess nuclear weapons. If they were able to obtain nuclear arms, we would be left with only two terrible choices: strike them before they strike us, or provide nuclear weapons to our allies so they could retaliate.

The approach we are taking now is the least dangerous of the available options.

Also, does anyone really care why a president does his job, as long as the job gets done? The president is not our king or master. He is our employee. What he thinks on that point is irrelevant. Please don’t tell him; he couldn’t stand having a boss. It would probably kill him.

Spec ops from both US and Israel have been in Iran for sometime.
