Sure, everybody'd like to change the Constitution to fit their own political views. But there's no way in hell you'd ever get everybody to agree on anything. If you did have agreement it would mean that one political faction had dictatorial control of the process - everyone else would be pitching fits.

Besides, congress and the states have a mechanism to change it - it's called Constitutional amendments. It's rare that the meet the criteria for creating a new amendment, but it does happen.

Did my time in the regular Army. Punctually speaking a comma means a pause or its used to separate items in a list. Either you choose to ignore the pause/comma in the 2nd Amendment or you failed English in school.
