A president has the authority to classify or declassify anything he chooses. There is no comparison between what happened with Trump and Biden. You want to know what authority a president has it's, precedence and written down in law.

Yea Gunny, but if Trump can magically de classify documents, why cant the sitting POTUS magically declassify all his documents and raise Trump one by making it retroactive? My point is, they both should be prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law. To pretend one or the other is different is just being mindlessly partisan. This topic is the most obvious example of shameless hypocrisy I have ever seen, I think.

That's great an all...it's just when he stole the documents, back when he was VP and even further back when he was a Senator he didn't have power...that's when the crime spree began....so even if he declassifies them now, that doesn't erase that. He can certainly pardon himself if he wishes....
