"Unity"

You excel at saying nothing, and not sounding particularly intelligent while doing so. It’s no wonder you spend your days whining and begging.
Why is it everything you say is expressing some emotion you're feeling about me? :dunno:

It's only a wedge for those who don't want to see Black Americans justly compensated for the socioeconomic injustice they endured. As a libertarian, isn't that what you're supposed to mostly be about? :dunno:
Nope. We're about "liberty". It's right there in the name. You'll rarely find libertarians talking about "socioeconomic injustice". That's just an excuse for government to control labor and resources - aka socialism.

Segregation was government controlling labor and resources. Reparations is about holding them accountable for it. You're only a pretender.

Indeed it was. Glad we finally ended that bullshit.
Reparations is about holding them accountable for it. You're only a pretender.
Again - hold them accountable. File your lawsuit, assess the damages, and your government will pay the bill. But, as you noted, you're after something more than accountability. You want government in charge of "socioeconomic justice".

Ending it isn't the same as making people whole for the injustice they suffered.

Where did I say that? You're conflating issues. There's the broader picture of how you and I think government should operate and then then there's whether or not Black Americans have been justly compensated for the harm done which again was not just economic. It was social as well. They were denied social mobility along with economic mobility. You just don't have any desire to address that.

How do you quantify damages when Ben Carson is a brain surgeon, when the Kenyan was POTUS twice?
In what nation do black folks rank higher on the socioeconomic scale than they do here in the U.S.?

Explain, rationally, what those two people have to do with reparations for the injustice of segregation.

They prove that living a ‘black life’ is a choice…that pretending to be oppressed is simply pretending.
Carson never could have become a brain surgeon in his native land and the Kenyan never would have become the leader of the free world in Kenya.

I'm not responsible for how poorly others think but I will find it amusing. :dunno:
And there’s your problem, you don’t take responsibility for anything. A mind is a terrible thing to waste.

In your response a couple of posts ago. I said the reparations would be fine if we paid out a settlement an moved on. But you want government to be tasked with ensuring socioeconomic justice. The "accountability" bit is just a ruse.

I expect the market to eventually take care of this.

Either cable and broadcast media will be sued and economically FORCED to start telling the public the real facts and real truth because they are losing eyeballs . . .

Or Americans of all philosophical dispositions will start to rely exclusively on the new media.

Once folks have the reality of the situation, regardless of where they stand, at that point, they will be able to start to work together to find solutions to the nation's problems.

As Libertarians we have been disenfranchised since 1913 when the so-called progressives enacted the Marxist (a) heavy graduated income tax and the(2) Federal Reserve Acts - both of which are planks of the Communist Manifesto
