I am a leftist, progressive, liberal in theory, but democrats are not really.
Like Wilson getting us into WWI, FDR getting us into WWII, LBJ and Vietnam, etc.
There has not been a single war the US got involved in that was not for munitions profits.

Trump is different in that he ignored the usual fake appearance aspect, like not divesting.
But in reality he still did better in that there were no wars and he slowed the offshore hemorrhaging.

All of trumps pardons came through the office of the pardon at the DOJ

Sure one can take advantage of pardons and make cash incorrectly, but so what?
The reality is that over half of what is prosecuted, should not be, like drug laws, firearm laws, the Mann Act, etc.

The reality is that we likely should not even have any federal prosecution, and that all federal charges should still be handled on the state level.
There should not be a distinction between state and federal laws because all laws should be based on the same inherent ethical principles of not harming others.
The US has the largest % incarcerated in the world, and it is the most unethical, in that sentencing prevents the ability of families to survive, causes home foreclosures, and does more harm than good in almost all cases.
