Taiwan is open, people going about their normal daily lives. Why? The infection rate is tiny, so tiny that only one person has died since May, and when there are infections, TAIWANS contact tracers go out and isolate anyone that has come into contact with the infected person.

Death, infection, economic contraction, high unemployment will CONTINUE as long as you allow the virus to spread with limited or no intervention like the United States had done for 6 months now.

Our nation is freer then other nations in that there are large swaths of land to do what you wish. The urban areas of our nation have a lot of the covid cases.

TAIWAN is one of the most densely populated countries in the world. They are a free market democracy just like the United States. But they only have 7 total deaths from Covid-19 since the start of the pandemic while the United States has 160,000+. Why the difference? Government policy in responding to the pandemic!
