It's laughable that they were so smug when they had the power, however slim, and chortled how 'elections have consequences'. But after their dreadful policies and the misery those produced put the Republicans back in the majority, now the Republican majority is 'too slim' to be considered a mandate? Their implication is the Democrats should still have as much say as ever.
Yet on other threads--mine, Roadrunner et al--they have been given multiple opportunities to express what the policies should be and/or anything they would have done differently the past four years, and they avoid answering those questions or participating in those polls like crazy.
And the OP is correct on this thread. The Democrats did everything they could to weaponize the government and use lawfare directly or indirectly to take Trump out as well as many of his supporters. And all the leftists here at USMB, most on social media, most in the media approved of and defended that.
And they gaslight like crazy claiming Trump is going to do that to Democrats which he never did in his first term and has made no indication he intends to do that now.
I hope the rumors are true and Biden goes ahead and pardons every Democrat in his Administration and every member of Congress, the J6 Committee et al, and himself. That will solidify the corruption completely and free up Trump to focus on the MAGA vision and agenda of a strong, free, secure, prosperous American with liberty, choices, options and opportunity for all Americans and not just those who vote for Democrats.
