I totally agree. It is time that Israel quits letting the Jordanian waqf administer the Temple Mount, since Israel is firmly in possession of it. Ever been there Humanity? I cannot remember your answer to that question. I was on the Temple Mount almost a year ago today. Israel allows the Jordanian Waqf to administer the Temple Mount out of courtesy and respect for the Palestinians.

Un anything is completely controlled by the voting process. roughly 1/3 of the un members are Arab or Muslim states, states that control the worlds oil to a large degree.

Would not take much for Israel to get possession would it, just block the entrances to muslims as a matter of security and then flood the Temple mount with Rabbi's and Priests. Hey presto Israeli possession once again, and you will of course announce that it is 9/10yhs of the law. Last week UNESCO adopted a resolution which refers to Israel as the “occupying power” in Jerusalem and on, what UNESCO calls, the al-Haram al-Shariff (Temple Mount). The Western Wall (Wailing Wall) that is today Judaism’s holiest site is referred to as “Al-Buraq Plaza” in the resolution.

He who pays the piper calls the tune. The U.S. cut it's funding of UNESCO in 2012 because it allowed Palestine full membership and the Zionists went berserk (as usual). Losing 22% of it's funding in one fell swoop caused a crisis which other member states chipped in to fill, but the U.S. lost all influence in any decisions made. We call that an "own goal" I suppose American would call it "shooting yourself in the foot". Way to go America, why not go the whole hog and stop funding the U.N. entirely and resign from the Security council and allow free voting?

That'll never happen, though because the first item would be expulsion of Zionist Israel as a threat to world peace, followed by condemnation of and sanctions on the U.S. for waging wars of aggression.

As if any decision they make really counts anyway, they are just recommendations and the civilised world can ignore them at their leisure. Because an islamonazi UN quango says something it does not make it fact, far from it.

Integrity and justice are not words you use to describe islamonazi propaganda machines like UNESCO. They acted as their islamonazi masters told them too, or face being invaded by hordes of islamonazi terrorists. The recent events in Europe should be opening many peoples eyes as to the violence and terrorism endemic in islam. The UN should either remove the Islamic nations that show even the faintest hint of racism or anti Semitism, or change the voting to one vote per block, putting all ideologies on the same footing.

Last Tuesday, coinciding with Israel’s 69th Independence Day, the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO) passed a resolution entitled ‘Occupied Palestine.’ The resolution denies Israel any sovereign claim to its own capital city, Jerusalem, and falsely describes Israel as the city’s “occupying power” and speaks of the “cultural heritage of Palestine and the distinctive character of East Jerusalem.”

Clearly, the intention of the UNESCO resolution is to achieve internationally the direct repudiation of Israel’s Jewish history and sovereignty in favor of Arab claims.

Lying behind this Arab diplomatic offensive is an Arab street and Muslim world, neither of which have reconciled themselves to Israel’s existence nor even the peoplehood of the Jews and thus the Jewish immemorial association and claim to Jerusalem.

However, this clamor and fixation on Jerusalem, quite recent in Muslim history, has led many to conclude that Jerusalem is holy to Islam and central to Palestinian Arab consciousness. This is, however, a propaganda fiction.

Israel is in possession of the Temple Mount. The Temple Mount is part of sovereign Israel ... only the administration is under control of the Islamic Waqf .
