Zone1 Understanding Trumps appeal

Here's one of the felons, its an obscenity how you fascists project your own evil onto your exact opposites, such is not happenstance, its evidence of extremely entrenched psychic pathology, as evidenced by recent assassination attempt by Crooks, every single fascist democrat is a peer to Crooks, every single one of you, all extraordinarily dangerous, all in perpetual state of psychotic delusion, by turning away from Trump you legitimately turn upon your very own best interests, an entire collective of suicidal lemming's demanding all fall in line with their long march to the cliffside....
You're a fucking mental patient.

Plenty of vacancies in the country. The figures there refer to people who have had their clams proessed. The govt stopped processing claims a year back.
Free healthcare is a basic in a civilised society. You wouldnt know that of course.
So, you're not even going to admit how wrong you were in your "couple of Pounds a week" statement?

You cannot even man up for the ten seconds that it would take to type that?

It's actually pretty easy to see why Trump is popular. People hate the political Establishment and the political Establishment hates Trump. The enemy of my enemy is my friend.

Donald Trump is a misogynistic, billionaire felon. Here’s why Americans can’t stop voting for him

An interesting take on the phenomenon of trump support. The author seems to be making the case that trump voters recognise themselves in all of trumps failings and empathise with him.

I am not wholly sold on that view. There maybe an element of truth in it but a fact to remember is that Trump has never won the popular vote. in 16 and 20 he was well beaten but his supporters lived in the right places.

Is it the quality of his opponents. Hillary was seen as corrupt and Biden was seen as enfeebled. Both got more votes than trump tho.

So what is the attraction of this man ? Why is he the choice of so many ?
Margaret Atwood (the Handmaids Tale) put it best. "It was fun to be a Nazi." Why wouldn't you want to be part of MAGA? You create your own reality, you dismiss any negative truth as "fake news", use of force negates any written law or statute, and when reality finally crashes the party, you scream that you're a victim of some widespread yet completely undetected entity (see "deep state" for proof).

i support him because he loves this country. I support him because we had peace for four years. Good economy, peace, great cost of living, America was respected again...and other countries had to pony up instead of being welchers. He is anti globalism, reasonable on climate and energy, wants to clean up the DC swamp which I AM UNAMBIGUOUSLY FOR. and more he did for this nation...trade agreements, cowing our enemies...and on and on. He IS the best president of the 21st century and certainly at least, the last 30 years.
happy now? How many times does one of us have to tell you this?
:th_believecrap:

You actually think that piece of shit loves this country? Why did he have stuff made in China? Lets hear your excuse.

He inherited Obama's economy that had the down climb 149% over 8 years. He handed off an economy that was on it's knees. Lets hear your excuse.

America was respected? In what world? World leaders hated this guy except for Kim Jong. Lets hear your excuse.

Anti-globalism? He is the poster child for globalism. Hence his name on buildings around he world. Lets hear your excuse.

Clean up the swamp? Most of his cabinet came from the swamp. Lets hear your excuse.

Our enemies are still our enemies now that he's gone. He didn't do jack shit. Name an enemy that is gone. Lets hear your excuse.

The overused phrases of misogynistic, billionaire, and felon with Trump don't hold the power you think it does; otherwise, you'd be equally as concerned with many professional athletes, Hollywood, and the other elites who fall into the same or similar bucket.
They arent running for Prez. I also cant think of any Hollywood star that those words describe.. Perhaps you could point them out.?

I also think that his longevity is a factor. Trump has been on the fringes of celeb dince the 80s. He would be familiar to most Americans. Editing on hisBritish derived show would make him look normal.
Maybe his grumpy uncle persona is a winner.
It has turned very dark tho.

You vastly overstate Trump’s appeal. He’s never gotten more votes than any democrat he’s run against. One term you may have heard recently is a candidate’s “floor”. That means anyone who is running for President as a Dem or a Rep has a floor. It may change by a few hundred thousand votes depending on the name of the person but often times not by even that much. Suffice to say that Trump has about the same floor that Mitch McConnell would have if he were to have gotten the nomination. Harris has about the same floor Biden would have. The floor is made up of persons who would not vote for the other side under any circumstances, folks like myself who would (usually) give the other side a look and learn the issues and then decide--with Trump its an easy decision to not support him, and a third group of people who are narrow focused. If you’re a fan of the 2nd Amendment for example you will vote for whomever has that R next to their name because the democrats have done a terrible job convincing folks that they are not gun grabbers. If you’re pro worker, pro equality, anti-discrimination, pro-education or have read a book in the last 12 years; you’re almost certainly voting for the Democrat. The GOP has gone off the rails and has shot dead anyone who has suggested getting back on track to being a party that things there should be a government.

Beyond the floor, the blob’s appeal is limited to the amount of voters the democrats can turn off or drive away. I’ll put it to you like this. The blob got shot. And whatever sympathy that would come to anyone else who was shot at...didn’t go anywhere near that prick. Why? Because he’s the closest thing we have to a pile of trash on the national stage. He’s actually lost ground in the polls since the attempt on his life. Give that some thought.

Understanding Trumps appeal

It's very simple, he does to white liberals what America has been longing for since the 60's...he takes them out to the woodshed and gives them the hiding of their life, then takes them by the ear and drags them kicking and screaming to their room without desert.

That is the real appeal of Trump, little else.

That is what the brainwashing conditions magaturds to feel. In reality, Trump couldn't beat a drum. Or drink a glass of water. Or walk down an incline...

Name calling, mental hygiene and speech structure aside that's what I said.

I did say his appeal was "little else" didn't I ? you seem to be in complete confusion on whether to agree or not.

I didn't see the appeal for a while. He's a pompous ass who looks like someone ate three people and threw up one Trump. What other people saw immediately is he says the quiet parts out loud. He's more honest than anyone we've heard in a long time. And then as president he achieved some of his promises against tremendous opposition.

I'm not a huge Trump supporter even though I've voted for him twice. In those 2 elections I just thought he was the better option (lesser of the 2 evils) at the time but wasn't thrilled with him personally. I don't like how he treats women, lies or runs his businesses. But what I do like about him are 2 things. First he got things done while president. Economy was good, border was secure and we had a certain level of respect around the world (other countries knew not to mess with us). Second I like how Trump speaks his mind. I don't like his insults but I prefer someone that gives it from the heart instead of talking in politically correct ways. With Trump what you see is what you get.

As far as the 2024 election goes I'm undecided but leaning Trump. I want to like Harris but I'm not into big government and she seems to lean that way. Plus economy and border security have been poor under her and Biden. I also don't like how she is hiding from the media and seems afraid to list her official political ideas and also has switched positions on some key issues. I'm looking forward to the debates. Then I might make my mind up. Hoping they have 3 debates instead of just 1.

Oops! I said I voted for Trump twice. I only voted for him once. I voted for Clinton in the 2016 election. I meant to say if I vote for him this year that will be twice. I voted for Bush twice, then Obama twice, then Clinton, then Trump.
