In a Republic, actually
‘What is so bewildering about the cruelty is how it has been allowed to pass, its casualness. Donald Trump hovers above the circus of death and chaos. (Billy, the clown-faced puppet in Saw, pops up rasping, “I want to play a game”.) Trump defies attempts to make his actions cohere with any particular strategy. His wars, killing of innocents, and indeed, the threatening of entire civilisations are reshaping the world, but without him even having orchestrated some master plan. He is animated by little more than momentary impulses and resentments.’

What isn’t bewildering is how Republicans allow Trump’s cruelty and chaos to pass, they enjoy the carnage as much as Trump, attempt to ‘justify’ death and destruction as being somehow ‘necessary’ to realize some fictional goal or defend against enemies and threats that don’t exist.

The genocidal maniac Iranian Islamist hate America.
But even they do not hate America as much as the Kleptocrats do.

It’s weird, I think a govt executing 30k of its own people was evil…but Dems defend the Iranian regime

I think trafficking humans is illegal…but Dems defend it

I think Epstein was evil, but Dems called him uncle Jeffrey and worked to get him off the sex offender list

I guess we have different ideas of evil and cruelty

He's not as silly as you're making out.
Iran must not be allowed to have nuclear weapons or stockpile enough drones/missiles with which to destroy Israel.
Israel has a right to exist as a sovereign nation.
It's easy to just look the other way while Iran turns Israel into ash...but it's very difficult to stop Iran, Hezbollah, Hamas, Houthis etc (look at all those Islamic terrorists.)
If the "Islamic army" (Iranian official) is allowed to rampage thru the globe taking over nations,... eventually it will arrive in Kansas USA.

Watching Trumpfy actively being himself a key part and player of the De-Americanisation of and from the Global Scene is hilarious , if you are not American.
These poor American Munchers are tied up with their soppy and silly party squabbles and cannot see that their country is being deliberately pushed down the sewer by Deep State .
We outside watchers all know that the next Empire will be run by China and Russia .
Why are Americans so blind that the obvious escapes them ?

Guess it is a combination of their well known Gullibility tied to " Last Chance saloon " Cognitive Rigidity .
In fairness , no country would enjoy and agree to their country deliberately being demoted a league or two .

What is bewildering as how you so-called progressives support a goatfucker theocracy that is anything but tolerant while the oppressed people of the country ask Trump and US for more assistance.

You do realize these goatfuckers in charge don’t support gays and will actually kill them? Prove me wrong by pushing for big fat white dudes in drag to go read to kindergarteners in Tehran?
