The very next game I called the catcher was a kid I coached for several years, as the pitch came I flinched and closed my yes. You can't call what you don't see so I had to call it a ball. The catcher said "coach, he swung". That was my last game.

Doubtful. In sports there will celebrating for taking away the power that way to many of these umps love to have over people.

Seriously, some of these umps get off on the power they have to make calls and then kick out anyone who disagrees.
