NATO and Russia signed an agreement many years back agreeing to limit the eastward expansion of NATO any closer to them in exchange for other concessions.

There's also the issue that NATO can't consider membership of a state currently in a conflict (at least with Russia IIRC). However a negotiate to both those could be made.

It's time for another very serious threat to Russia that the US is prepared to use the ultimate nuclear force against Russia if Russia resorts to the use of WMD's (etc.).

And Russia will pay particular close attention because Putin knows very well that even if all his nukes weren't rusted duds, America could defend against 2000 Russian nuclear warheads with impunity.

Even John F. Kennedy took Russia to be a very worthy and respected adversary back in the day, and therefore he walked softly but carried with him a big stick not to be used unless provoked directly. He was a man of great wisdom and decision making when a decision had to be made. Russia provoked us directly with the Cuban missile crisis, and we didn't blink. This only worked however because we were respected at the time, and no one wanted Nuclear war which is understandable of course, and we should never want it.

We don't have this reasoning currently.

Fast forward to our nation today, and think about the respect we have since lost, the moral high ground we have since lost, the wars we have since lost, the degradation of our once respectful and respected SOCIETY after world war two we have since lost, our unity we have lost, our racial progress we have lost, our religion's lost, our belief in God lost, our soul's lost, our mind's seemingly lost, our common sense lost, and on an on it all goes. Now think hard people on who the true culprit's behind it all are. Think People..

Then we get one of the worst representing bodies ever to represent us, and suddenly we are doing everything we can to help destroy one of our greatest adversary's through a proxy war in this place called Ukraine, and this by sticking our noses in farther than any other.

A place that was once part of the Soviet Union, and was sadly hosting our now Presidents son Hunter in some very shady dealings that are currently under investigation to this very day in America, and these were dealings that actually caused our former President Trump some huge problem's when he attempted to explore the situation a little more in detail.

I hope and pray that we are not on the wrong side of this thing, but somehow shockingly we've allowed a group of people that possibly are alledgedly corrupt within our nation to bring us to the brink of nuclear war. This is absolutely Not Good.

We should be in close contact with Russia even though it is in a current struggle with Ukraine. We should never sever ties with either of them, and we should always be willing to negotiate on behalf of the two parties struggling, otherwise meditate as best we can. It's not going to work with the blue haired people though, so we need to quickly get a grip.

Will America recapture it's glory days or become a hulled out empty shell ? Wake up America, and retake the helm of this ship back in November before it's to late, but do so peacefully and decently in the coming election. It's up to you the American people to let your voices be heard. War on the world stage or peace ?? it's your call, it's your nation.

Kind of true, but this seems to be way bigger, and way more deadly in terms of possible escalation and provocation.

Anyone really think that a country for whatever reason (when it decides to go to war), and next it starts losing that war, and worse it is supposed to be one of the most equally respected super power's in the world, otherwise in a very (soviet era nostalgic kind of way, and with a Soviet era dictator at it's helm), that it's just going to stop in the face of defeat, otherwise while having it's super power's at arms length or at arm's reach ?? Let's hope so, but it's highly unlikely.

He said that he wouldn't be blackmailed in order to stop, and it seems we are crossing that bridge with more saber rattling in hopes that he will stop before it goes nuclear.
