Total discharges from the 14,000 storm overflows owned by English water companies that release untreated sewage into rivers and coastal waters increased by 54% to 464,056, according to data submitted to the Environment Agency by the industry.

Another great achievment from this tory govt. A true monment to thatchers privatisation agenda. And still these grifters cant admit that it has failed. Foreign corporations have been skimming profits for years while neglecting to invest in their business.

Even now water bosses are preparing to pay themselves a huge bonus for fouling up the waterways. And the govt is doing **** all.

But it is the perfect metaphor for conservatism. An ideological nutty govt supplemented by an ineffectual regulator and an underfunded environment agency.

What could go wrong ?

Public utilities should be owned by the public.

Maybe shifting to a service only economy wasn't a very good idea.

Whatever the sector this govt would **** it up.
Government messes up every sector, which is why the greatest economy built had minimal government.

Alas, the U.S is now turning to socialism and like our countries, they too may soon have their own police state.

Import more people...drink more shit...bub.

Here in America, we've found that private companies are much better at providing clean water than government bureaucrats.

We have no problem with our privately obtained water here in the Tremendous City of Hermitage PA.

OTOH, cities like Flint Michigan and Jackson Mississippi, with socialized water , have severe problems.

We have found the exact opposite. So where does that leave us ?

Now you and your rivers have something in common.

We have fresh water in the UK too.

Poor grave pisser Tommy hasn't a clue about the infrastructure in the UK. With new builds, surface water has to be on it's own system, and sewage on a separate one that goes to treatment plants. The UK has a lot of old housing stock, especially London. Those tend to have combined systems, where the surface and sewage went into one system. High rainfall etc.. simply means the excess overflows off into rivers. Grave pisser Tommy hasn't a clue how things work.

He claims he's from Wales, the Tories don't run the Welsh government or utilities, and.......

.....Tommy's shit's go into the Welsh rivers.

Tommy is so thick as ****, his threads are totally laughable because Tory hate drives him, and his knowledge on how things work is like is IQ, in negative figures.

The Welsh government seems to be good at only one thing; keeping non-white people out. That's why Tommy chooses to live there, clearly.
