You are assuming that solar and wind were supposed to supply cheap, plentiful, efficient energy.

That is where you went wrong.

Solar and wind were meant to limit the amount of power humans have......more, cheap, plentiful, efficient energy, would allow more people to exist......this is against what the left believes.......humans are over populating the world and destroying the world...according to the climate change cult...

Therefore, they want to limit access to energy.....more energy equals more people....less energy will encourage fewer humans being born...

That was the goal......

Normal people simply want enough energy to live their lives...leftists want less energy to reduce human population....

Green technology isn't going to be the perfected god of energy right out of the box. Your fossil fuels certainly didn't start off that way.

But, even with this..........Europe has solar and wind....so it shouldn't matter what putin did.....

An old coal plant has had to be brought back online after a spike in the price of natural gas.

Warm, still, autumn weather has meant wind farms have not generated as much power as normal, while soaring prices have made it too costly to rely on gas.
As a result, National Grid ESO - which is responsible for balancing the UK's electricity supply - confirmed coal was providing 3% of national power.
It said it asked EDF to fire up West Burton A, which had been on standby.
