U2 Vertigo Live DVD

I have to admit, I haven't been the biggest fan of U2 - sure I appreciate a lot of their songs and respect them for being around as long as they have; but nothing could really prepare me for their latest Live DVD filmed in Chicago on their Vertigo Tour.

The overwhemling spiritual overtones and themes throughout the concert really help set them apart. Additionally, the musicianship audio, lighting, camerawork - everything was spot on.

Hands down - the best Live Band I've seen to date.

Yeah, my friend Zeke saw them on the Vertigo tour and said it was great, well worth the ridiculous amount of money he paid.

They've always sort of had spiritual overtones, though, no? Maybe I was just reading too much into their lyrics.
