U.S. weighs sending special forces to seize Iran's nuclear stockpile

It would be so easy to prove a 757 can't fly 8' off the ground. . . . were it not for the fact that they do it dozens if not hundreds of times a day. . . taking off and landing.

That leaves intentional landing with no hope for survival in the mix.

No, but let's be serious, we bombed the #### out of those sites. If there was radioactive material there, it would have leaked. Apparently it didn't.

We have heard this "Iran is just about to get a nuke bomb" narrative for 40 years. The evidence so far is that Tulsi was right, they don't have a nuke bomb program and never did. The Soviets set them up with power plants and primitive centrifuges good to produce fuel, not weapons grade. There is no evidence so far they ever went beyond that. And "videos" and "quotes from Iranian officials" from Fox News does not count as "evidence" of anything except a tutorial on just how much "news" on Fox is manufactured Zionist Fascist treasonous bullshit.
Simply put, the mission was to destroy Iran's nuclear facilities to set back their nuclear programme. The quantity of Uranium was known and it was also known that Iranians moved it to an unknown location. All of this was reported in the news.

But you guys have this imaginary scenario going on with the Uranium, that Trump failed to blow it and other crazy shit. All you've done is come up with hypotheticals and than ran with them that it's all true.

LOL!!!

Doubt it. Obviously a 757 cannot get anywhere near 500 mph until 10k feet high or higher.

How much "higher" is the nose of a 757 compared to the bottom of the engines....

How many walls did that engine punch through before that picture was taken?

What's so magical at 10K?

Yes, airplanes generally fly faster at higher altitudes. In thinner, less dense air (typically 30,000–40000+ ft), planes experience less drag, allowing them to achieve a higher true airspeed (TAS) for the same amount of engine thrust. This results in faster ground speeds, improved fuel efficiency, and smoother flights

The Boeing 757 typically lands at speeds between 130 and 150 knots (roughly 150–170 mph or 240–275 km/h)

A Boeing 757 typically takes off at speeds between 140 and 165 knots (approx. 160–190 mph

A Boeing 757 typically flies at speeds over 500 mph (roughly Mach 0.80) while cruising at altitudes between 35,000 and 42,000 feet.

Nice try, treasonous liar.

The 8 foot distance is from the NOSE of the object to the ground...

Don't send anything.

No more dying for a stupid war.

U.S. weighs sending special forces to seize Iran's nuclear stockpile

The U.S. and Israel have discussed sending special forces into Iran to secure its stockpile of highly enriched uranium at a later stage of the war, according to four sources with knowledge of the discussions.

Why it matters: Preventing Iran from ever obtaining a nuclear weapon is one of President Trump's stated war objectives. The regime's 450 kilograms of 60%-enriched uranium — convertible to weapons grade within weeks — is one key to that goal.

The big picture: Any operation to seize the material would likely require U.S. or Israeli troops on Iranian soil, navigating heavily fortified underground facilities in the middle of a war.

It remains unclear whether it would be an American, Israeli or joint mission.
It would likely only take place after both countries are confident Iran's military can no longer mount a serious threat to the forces involved.
Behind the scenes: At a congressional briefing Tuesday, Secretary of State Marco Rubio was asked whether Iran's enriched uranium would be secured. "People are going to have to go and get it," he said, without specifying who.
During the 12 day war, Israel had sufficient special forces on the ground in Iran that they believed they could have breached Fordow and destroyed it if the US had not destroyed it, so it is likely Israeli special forces are already on the ground in Iran, and I have no doubt that if they have good intelligence on the location of the 60% enriched uranium they will go after it and if needed elite US forces will join them.

Yeah, let's ignore the physics and assume the wing tips (wings) would remain at full width through the whole impact, ignoring that the base of the wings would hit first because the base of the wing is most forward.

Nice AI quote.............nice try.

Airplanes can and do exceed extremely high speeds at sea level too, especially utilizing gravity in a rapid decent from altitude. Jet fighters do it all the time. Max recommended speed at sea level would be about 400 mph.

A 757 doesn't have to fly at 40K to do 530 either.

You'd be surprised what you can do with a commercial aircraft.

Hey there, remember when 47 said he had, "Obliterated", Iran's nuclear capability? How can they destroy something that no longer exists?
