I don't think Russia cares if they are thought of as a gas station.This is just China trying to create yet another
state that is completely reliant upon China.
Maybe Russia considers this a reasonable deal:
"If we are destined to be the gas station of other countries, at least, let's be the gas station of a country that respects us as a nation. A country that doesn't create and expand military alliances to surround our borders... A country that doesn't have any russian minorities to be in a perpetual state of war with."

I think you're right in that Trump would have never started this proxy war. It's just too obvious that Russia offered a peaceful solution that would have been agreeable to America's interests, if aggression could have been taken off the table.None of this would be happening if the dems didn't steal the election... there wouldn't be a war and China wouldn't be taking the lead in global affairs....

But America understands that point #1 is not aimed at only Russia in the Ukraine. The discussion can be allowed to take place on Russia's aggression, but it will also need to include America's many wars of aggression.
